Product Review Anbero Bluetooth FM Transmitter - FB

My Review:

Why did I need this: When our 2nd child came along, we decided on an Avalanche for the family vehicle (no minivan). They stopped manufacturing them so all you can do is buy an older one, which we ended up with a 2004. While i LOVE our truck, that also means we ended up with a 2004 factory stereo. CD player, but no auxiliary input, no bluetooth, no good. I really didn't want to spend the money on a aftermarket stereo and now we don't need to after stumbling across this great deal.

It works great and has extra features that others don't:*Volume control
*sd card reader
*choose of any station up and down the dial
*skip/back up songs
*Digital readout
*usb charging port
*headphone jack

Color Options: The box does show red or blue options but I don't see an option online to choose which color you get. I was really hoping for red since we have a red truck, but we got blue. It's nice looking though.
The Bad: The only bad thing I have to say about this device is the negative pole on the plug seems to get stuck in outlet and feels like it is breaking. I've tested in my truck (both outlets), my car and my adaptor. It is kind of hard to put it and feels like it is going to break when you pull it out. With that being said, a simple adaptor should do the trick so i'm not pulling the actual device in and out, risking breaking it or my truck. I should note, I would plug it and forget it, but the truck feeds power to a plugged in device, even when shut off. If we forget to unplug the GPS and don't drive for a day or two, the truck battery dies. I can't say this would do that, but now we are in a habbit of just unplugging all devices from the outlets.
Other Uses: While this is obviously intended to be used in your car, you can get the nifty gadget I used in my video which converts an car charger or device to a house charger or device. SO you can actually use this in your house too! Great for lake and beach houses or cabins, which typically don't have the greatest radio reception or wifi service. You can listen to your own music when and wherever you'd like. In doors or in your vehicle.

Rating and Why:

4/5 HungryHollys
While I love just about everything about this, the darn plug is a major issue. I debated actually going down to 2 or 3 stars because of it, but since there is an easy fix for it (although I do have to purchase and extra device) I still do really like it and it will be an item I use daily.
